A Textbook of Literary translation

This textbook is claimed to fill in the gap of lacking rigorous, methodological and well=planned textbooks for University students and translators on translating literature. It attempts to lay solid grounds for translating the two major literary genres: prose (including the short story and the novel) and poetry, due to their recurrence in language and translation. The cornerstone of the book's approach to translating literature is stylistic, based on tracing the stylistic features of the literariness of literary texts that make them into literary, which are eventually the elements of creativity, the key word in the translation of literature. At translating poetry, only the production, construction and introduction of sound features of all types, especially, rhyme and rhythm, can make a literary translation sound literary.
